Soul Catcher

£200.00

Acrylic on Canvas Mandala (61 x 61) cms on canvas. One of four in a series..

This design is a fusion of First Nations American symbols. Centrally the Inuit ‘Soul Catcher’ image is set against a gold sun symbol in an earth-red and grass-green, four directional circle.

The grey and terracotta swirling areas are the diverse types of soil on earth and how we find our way to live and thrive on them.

Encircling this are First Nations ‘feather symbols’ indicating tribes and turquoise vibration rings in the sacred colour of unity. The dividing two-toned arcs of green and white, denote the changing terrain as we move and live on the Earth.

These elements are ultimately encircled in four rings of brass; blue; gold and dark blue, representing the layers of our atmosphere and Cosmos.

My technique is a smooth layering of two to four coats of acrylic paint, allowing a solid colour finish for good quality Giclée prints.

This original acrylic canvas will stand out in any space, its graphic vibrancy will become a talking point on your feature wall.
