Life-River-Fish-Life

£200.00

Acrylic Mandala on canvas (61 x 61) cms on canvas. One of four in a series.

This is one of my favourite pieces, its dynamism is created by the large, offset, interlocking circles.

These off-set circles (of a crop circle) indicate the ever moving flow of life within creation. Fish swimming towards the central black and white (balancing) Yin/Yang symbol, are segmented with differing tones of grey, which represent the uniqueness of each individual on this planet.

Bordering the circles in blue, represents water in rivers, which provides the fish we eat, therefore sustaining life. The outer band is studded with bronze shapes that purify the waters.

My technique here is a smooth layering of two to four coats of acrylic paint, giving it a solid colour finish for good quality Giclée prints.

An energetic piece, a talking point, in any space you place it in.
