Life on Earth Mandala
An original design of a Mandala printed onto 290gsm. 90% Bamboo Fibre/10% Cotton. natural white, 42 x 42 cms or 29 x 42 cms.
This is one of my newest pieces. Each dimetion of life is shown on the layers within each other : From the outer asteroid field in space, to the clouds and weather in the skies, then down onto the surface of the earth with living beings and animals. The earth opens up in very small sections called 'Cenotés, which allow life to filter down and create whole new biomes in the caverns and Stalegmites and Stalegtites. In the inner layer or womb, I show the flow of evolution from basic Elements, to prehistoric fossils, on up to modern creatures and the beginnings of the foetal stages of humans and animals. Earth is our Life Giver and we all start off looking very similar. So perhaps we are all one after all.
Once framed this image would become a talking piece. With so much detail, the eye has so much to see and find.
